About the GYM
Our Goal @ Phromthep Muay Thai Camp is to offer a high quality of Fight & Fitness training to Thai boxing & Fitness enthusiast.

The design of the gym is (old school - Thai style) with lots of exposed timber features. The old school thatched roofing is designed to reflect the heat of the mid day sun and cool down the training area by a noticeable amount.

We keep the gym small with only 15 - 20 Fight training students.
Our focus is on the quality of training rather than quantity of foreign $$ students $$.

1 & 2 hour private training sessions are available for any one that prefers One on One PRIVATE training rather than the loud & fast pace of the group Fight training .

About the Training

Phromthep Muay Thai Camp is NOT just for Pro Fighters.
Our Gym is open to ALL people intrested @ improving their health & Fitness.

People come to us for many reasons such as improved fitness / diet / Detox bath / Give up smoking & other drug habbits / Family fitness holiday / Pre season fitness training in the Tropics / Training for the Phuket mountain marathon / Phuket triathlon / Phuket iron man - Endurance training - High humidity fitness training - Running - Swimming - Cycling - Bjj & Thai boxing.

Training Programs @ Phromthep Muay Thai Camp...

Fight Training
6 hours a day of Muay Thai Training
Monday to Saturday - morning run starts @ 6am
Morning Training - 7am till 9am
Afternoon Training - 4pm till 7pm

 

Private Training (1 or 2 hour)
1 or 2 hours of One on One Thai boxing training.
Available Monday to Saturday 9am - 7pm.

 

Fitness Training (Triathlon Training )
Running, Swimming, Cycling, Yoga, Thai boxing, stretching, weight training.
Our students that come to Phromthep Muaythai Camp for detoxing, weight loss & improved fitness get the best results when they mix up their training.

Yanui beach @ Phuket Thailand
Yanui beach is a small beach that famous for the wind turbine that stands high up on the hill between Naiharn & Yanui beach. The wind turbine @ Yanui can be seen from the view point @ the Phuket Big Buddha. Yanui is popular for its quiet location, beach side bamboo bungalows, snorkeling, spear fishing, canoe hire, swimming, relaxing on the beach & having fuN in the SuN.

Naiharn beach is one of the best swimming beaches at Phuket & offers good surfing condition's during the monsoon season (April to November )

Phromthep Cape is located @ the most southern point of Phuket Island, their is a light house, a maritime museum, a Thai restaurant & a shrine to the God "Phrom".

Phromthep Cape has the MOST amazing water views & is a VERY famous place for Thai VIP's & tourists to come & watch the sunset @ Phuket Thailand.

The market @ Phromthep Cape is so cheap you don't need to barter / haggle with the price, They sell clothes / beach wear / green coconuts, food & basic tourist stuff.
No holiday @ Phuket is complete with out a visit to Phromthep Cape.

CHIA SEEDS for improved ENDURANCE & HYDRATION

Chia seeds are used by tri athletes & ultra marathon runners to replenish electrolytes & keep the body hydrated. When you are training 4 - 6 hours a day in THAILAND you sweat so much that your body can quickly become dehydrated & deficient in electrolytes. Your sweat starts to taste extra salty & you start to get muscle spasms followed by muscle cramps. LOW electrolytes in your body = SLOW recovery from Training !

Mixing Chia seeds with your water is the PERFECT way to keep your body hydrated & your electrolytes levels balanced. Chia seeds are a good source of antioxidants, dietary fiber, protein, electrolytes & omega3.

How to use Chia seeds...

Training in the Tropics you sweat .... ALOT.
Chia seeds mixed with water helps keep your electrolyte levels in balance.

CHIA seed in your Water - Add 1 - 2 table spoons of Chia seeds to your bottle of water. Wait 10 minutes BEFORE you drink the Chia water because the seeds need time to absorb some of the water.

For best results ... when ever you drink water, make it Chia water & your body will reward you with a noticeably faster recovery from exercise.

CHIA Gel - Chia gel is perfect for endurance runners & tri-athletes to help maintain hydration during ultra marathon events. Add 5 table spoons of chia seed to two cups of water, mix it in well & pour the liquid into a small plastic bag. after 15 minutes the Chia water will solidify & become like jelly. During your bike leg & run squeeze some Chia gel into your mouth for continued hydration. ( You only need to try Chia Gel ONCE to appreciate its hydration benefits & VERY noticeable faster recovery ....
(Chia gel keeps good in the fridge for 3 - 4 days)

CHIA SEED in your Protein Shakes - add 1 table spoon of Chia seed to your protein shakes & GREEN smoothies. (Wait 10 minutes before you drink it !)

GREEN SMOOTHIES

The average cooked meal takes 1 - 3 hours for your digestive system to break down the food and start refueling your body. Take NOTE:
The Green Smoothie diet is perfect for ANY one that wants to lose body fat and bring out the definition of their abbs. Avoid ALL junk food, processed foods, sweet's, dairy products, processed breakfast cereals such as cornflakes, weetbix, fruit loops, coco pops. Drink lots of room temperature WATER (coffee in moderation ) NO soft drinks, NO pre packaged fruit Juices, NO sports recovery drinks.
